This 4-day course provides a management-level update on ITIL v3. It covers the components that are new to ITIL v3, and the significant differences between v2 & v3 in terms of concepts, processes, roles, and functions, and the relationships between resources, capabilities, processes and lifecycle phases. NOTE: This course includes a 90-minute 20-question scenario-based complex multiple choice exam. For classroom based sessions, the certification exam will be administered at 1:30pm on the last day of class. Students should make travel plans accordingly. For RAIL sessions, students will need to register for the exam and travel to an approved site in the local area to take the proctored exam if desired. The exam price is included in the price of the Remote RAIL session. |

Candidates must already hold either (a) a V1 or V2 Managers Certificate in IT Service Management (b) 10.5 or more ITIL Expert credits from ITIL V2 Practitioner certifications. |

Audience |

Holders of either an existing Manager’s certificate in IT Service Management or at least 10.5 ITIL V2 Practitioner ITIL Expert credits, who wish to update their skills and knowledge to ITIL V3, and obtain the ITIL Expert certification. (Note that candidates progressing to this course by meeting the 10.5 Practitioner credits will also need to take HF442S Managing Across the Lifecycle and pass its exam in order to achieve ITIL Expert certification.) |
